Well, may we welcome you with a passion for hospitality. Our first priority is to respond to your wishes and needs with personal service in an informal manner.

Each of our rooms has been created with love for detail and is as cosy as it is comfortable.

In culinary terms the Hotel Cristal Flumserberg offers something for almost every taste and every mood. In the light-flooded restaurant Churfirstenstube you can have a cosy breakfast.

The local Arvenstübli invites you to a conversation and enjoy an aperitif by the fireplace. In the rustic Chäs-Stübli in the ambience of the hut you can enjoy typical Swiss cuisine – homemade cheese fondue and delicious raclette are served.

Our cosy wellness area invites you to relax your tired muscles and unwind. With sauna, steam bath and relaxation room the deserved pampering after a long hiking day.

Guest information from A to Z

Adapter

At the reception we can provide you with adapters for German plugs. We will charge a deposit of CHF 10.00 to your account. This will be cancelled as soon as the adapter is handed over.

Departure

We ask you to vacate the rooms by 10.00 a.m. and to settle the bill at the reception.

Doctor

If you need a doctor, the reception will be glad to help you.

Train station

The train station in Flums can be reached by post bus.

We will gladly inform you at the reception about the departure times of the trains. Current timetable information can also be found at www.sbb.ch.

Payment

You can pay your bill in cash in CHF, with EC-card/Postcard, credit card (Mastercard/Maestro/Visa) or TWINT at the reception from 08.00am. on the day of departure. Please inform us the evening before until 04.00pm, should you leave before 08.00am. Please note that we cannot accept American Express. An ATM is available at the main cash desk Tannenboden of the mountain railroads.

Billiards / table football / table tennis

The billiard room with table football is located in the basement, 2nd door on the right.
A table tennis table is located in the children's playroom. Bats & balls are available at the reception.

Books

A selection of reading books can be found in the Arvenstübli as well as in the children's playroom and on the 1st & 2nd floor. Please inform the reception if you want to borrow something.

Fire

Please keep calm! Orientate yourself on the escape plan next to the entrance door of your room and follow the emergency exit signs. The assembly point is located in the hotel parking lot in front of the building.

Bottle warmer (for baby bottles)

We can provide you with a bottle warmer at the reception desk. We will charge a deposit of CHF 50.00 to your account. This will be cancelled on your bill when you return the bottle warmer.

Breakfast

Between 07.30am and 10.00am you can enjoy our rich breakfast in the restaurant Churfirstenstube. Please note that for legal reasons it is forbidden to take food & drinks with you. You are welcome to order packed lunches from the service team.
If you have external friends on the mountain who would like to enjoy breakfast with you, the price is CHF 25.00 per person. Please inform us about the additional guests the day before at the reception. (subject to availability)

Half board

In winter half board can be booked for CHF 55.00 per person. Please register at the reception until 12 o'clock. We serve a daily freshly prepared 4-course evening menu in our restaurant Churfirstenstube. There is no à la carte restaurant available at the hotel.

We will gladly reserve a table for you in a nearby restaurant, subject to availability.

Indoor swimming pool Flumserberg

Our guests have 4 entrance tickets for the indoor swimming pool Flumserberg at their disposal. You are welcome to obtain these free of charge at the reception, subject to availability. The tickets cannot be reserved in advance and must be returned in the evening.

Housekeeping

The hotel rooms are refreshed for you every day. This service is available until 13.00.

Pillows

We have a selection of Elsa fluff & neck pillows. We will be happy to advise you at the reception. We will make a deposit of CHF 130.00 on your invoice. This will be cancelled as soon as the pillow is returned.

Parking spaces

A limited number of parking spaces are available in front of the hotel. The use is included for hotel guests. Parking spaces for motorcycles and bicycles are also available. If all spaces are occupied, you can leave your vehicle in the parking garage of the mountain railroads (fee CHF 20.00 per day). Parking tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices of the mountain railroads. Please note that you have to pay for public parking and there is a night parking ban.

Care products

If you need care products, please ask for them at the reception. We have prepared a small selection for you.

Smoking is forbidden

Smoking is generally prohibited in the building. There is an ashtray in front of the main entrance. We kindly ask you to dispose of cigarettes in the ashtrays provided. If the smoking ban is disregarded in the rooms, the hotel will charge a fee of CHF 300.00 for cleaning and room loss. This also applies to smoking out of the window!

Restaurants

Churfirstenstube

In the restaurant Churfirstenstube you are welcome to help yourself to the large breakfast buffet from 07.30am to 10.00am. In addition, we serve dinner in winter as part of the half board between 17.30 and 20.00. If you would like to eat out, please cancel your reservation at the reception by 12.00 noon on the same day at the latest, so that we can give you a credit note.

Guests who have booked the room with breakfast only can book the half-board menu until 12.00 noon on the same day, subject to availability.

Chäs-Stübli

The restaurant Chäs-Stübli is located in the basement directly behind the billiard room. From Thursday to Saturday we serve raclette and fondue in a rustic hut atmosphere.

The Chäs-Stübli is only open during the winter season from Wednesday until Saturday.

Arvenstübli & Lounge

In the lounge we welcome you in winter daily from 10.00 a.m., the offer includes drinks and snacks during the day.

At lunchtime we serve dishes from the small menu in winter from 11.30-13.30. Please reserve a table for this. (limited seats)

There is a minibar in the lounge where you are welcome to help yourself.

Reception

In the entrance area you will find the reception. If you have any questions, requests or suggestions, we will be happy to help.

We are there for you from 8am to 7pm. (changes possible)

Exclusively for emergencies you can contact us outside the operating hours under the number +41 76 818 16 11.

Safe

A safe for valuables is available at the reception. The hotel is not liable for simple theft. We are not liable for valuables left unlocked in the rooms.

Skiroom code

The ski room is secured with a code lock.

You can get the code at the reception.

The hotel is not liable in case of theft or damage.

Games

For a selection of board games you may ask at the reception, directly in the children's room or Arvenstübli choose one, please put back completely.

Playroom

Our children's playroom is located on the first floor, after the wellness area on the left. Please note that children must be supervised by their parents. Please leave the room tidy and leave the toys in the room. Following guests will thank you for it.

Electricity

The power supply in the rooms on the second & third floor is activated as soon as you set the main power switch right next to the entrance door.

Telephone

On request, at the reception, we will be happy to provide you with a telephone.

Linen change

We want to keep the environmental impact as low as possible and therefore change your terry linen every 3rd day. If necessary, you can put the terry linen on the floor, then it will be changed every day. The bed linen is changed every 7 days.

Laundry

We can offer you cleaning of easy-care linen on request and availability in our in-house laundry (please hand it in before 12.00 o'clock so that it is ready for pick-up at the reception 24h later), however, we do not assume any liability for damages caused by improper treatment of the linen. Please contact the reception for more information.

Wellness

A small wellness area with aroma steam bath and sauna invites you to relax after a long day of skiing (reservation is required). Opening hours are from 12-19 o'clock and a maximum of 8 people are allowed at the same time. The wellness area needs one hour to heat up.

Newspapers and magazines

A small selection of newspapers and magazines can be found in the lounge or in the wellness area.

Room key

Please always take your room key with you when leaving the hotel in the evening. This will open the main entrance in the absence of the hotel team. During the day you can deposit the key in the key box, right next to the reception or take it with you. We assume no liability for the key box.
